The Watchman, Zion National Park

I had fun week in Zion with my friend and his parents over Spring Break. On the last night, we hiked up a hill to get away from the road and got some night shots. This is a stitch of 9 vertical photos for the foreground, taken about 30 minutes after sunset, and six for the sky, probably 45 minutes later. It was kinda a pain to edit with all of the photos overloading my computer, but I finally finished it a little while ago after a couple days of getting frustrated with my computer and giving up. We were going to shoot the Milky Way, but it didn’t rise until around 5:00 AM, and the moon was right there next to it, making it too hard to see. But I’m going to Colorado this summer for like a month so hopefully I’ll get my fair share of Milky Way while I’m there. Anyway, I hope you guys like it. Let me know what you think!
